A detailed description of the project’s content
Developing the business sector’s ability to adapt to accelerating technological, economic and social changes contributes to crisis-resilient and sustainable operations. Investment in capacity is therefore necessary. The rationale behind the planned project is to meet the ever-increasing quality and quantity requirements set by our customers. Our aim is to reduce the workload on our staff by introducing machinery, replacing manual labour with mechanised processes; the new machine operates faster and more accurately than the current one. There is less waste, and compliance with quality requirements is higher across our machinery.
Capacity is currently limited, which means production lead times are long. To ensure reliable service for customers, it is necessary to increase capacity – that is, to acquire equipment that will enable the manufacture of products that meet demand at the right time. This development is justified because the new machinery will increase capacity and reduce production lead times, whilst improving the company’s technological capabilities and resource efficiency.
The use of new technologies helps to improve the efficiency of business processes.
The company’s main objectives are to improve the quality of its products and increase the efficiency of the manufacturing process through the continuous technological upgrading of its machinery. To enhance competitiveness through increased capacity and a broader product range, to ensure a more organised workflow, and to strengthen supplier potential. The machine is used in component manufacturing; it enables us to produce components that we were previously unable to manufacture. It also enables us to process larger raw materials; we can now carry out work that was previously outsourced to subcontractors in-house; and it enables us to manufacture components that require more precise workmanship.
Relationship between cost elements and the activity to be developed
- Ermaksan PowerBend Falcon CNC-controlled press brake: Ermaksan’s machines offer the optimal solution where bending quality, production line integration and the potential for automation are the key selection criteria. The specialised Delem software, or the equivalent Ermaksan ER press brake software and CNC controller, enables the operator to use the machine quickly and easily. It also enables us to process larger raw materials; we can now carry out work that was previously outsourced to subcontractors in-house, and we can also manufacture components that require greater precision.
- Hall construction: The extension of the industrial hall provides an opportunity to increase production capacity. The new section of the building comprises an entrance area with a canopy, a closed materials store and an open, covered storage area.
- Consulting: the development of a training plan based on the results of the diagnostic assessment, which is expected to lead to positive changes in the company’s process system.
- Training: The language training improves the English language skills of the employee concerned.
