CNC nibbling

Punching and contouring, step by step

The Euromac CNC nibbling machine guides the tool along the contour in a series of overlapping strokes, and punches each hole with a single stroke. For perforated sheets, cut-outs and cladding panels up to a sheet size of 1000 × 2000 mm.

Operations

From raw sheet to finished part

A thin sheet metal part is rarely produced using a single machine. We select and combine the operations according to the size of the part and the batch size.

Cutting to size

Sheet metal shears, band saw

Straight cutting of sheets and strips using a CNC shearing machine up to 2,500 mm, and using conventional shears up to 2,000 and 1,250 mm; cutting of sections and bars using a band saw.

Nibbling

CNC nibbling machine

Holes, hole patterns and contours on flat sheets using the Euromac machine, up to 1000 × 2000 mm.

Pressing

Eccentric and hydraulic presses

Blanking, punching and forming with press tools: eccentric presses 5–63 t, hydraulic presses 1–20 t.

Further processing

Bending, welding

We bend the cut piece, weld it and assemble it, all at a single site.

Since 1998

From casings to series supply

We started out manufacturing sheet metal casings and components for gas appliances, floor-standing boilers and convector heaters. Today, as a supplier to our industrial partners, we manufacture sheet metal components, as well as stainless steel trolleys and bicycle storage units. Our machinery is specialised in processing and welding thin sheet metal.

What thickness of sheet metal do you work with?

The standard thickness range for sheet metal working is 0.5–6 mm. We can cut carbon steel to a thickness of up to 16 mm using laser cutting.

What is the maximum sheet size you can process?

The nibbling machine can handle sheets measuring 1000 × 2000 mm, the laser cutter can handle sheets measuring 1500 × 3000 mm, and the CNC shears have a cutting length of 2500 mm.

Do you undertake series production?

Yes. As a supplier to our industrial partners, we regularly manufacture series of sheet metal components.

Can I also order a ready-assembled component?

Yes. After cutting, nibbling or pressing, we bend, weld and assemble the component.

What is the lead time?

Lead time depends on the material, the quantity and the number of operations. We will specify this in the quotation.
